Not really surprising. Imagine life after 80 years of no entrepreneurship or private ownership. The schools were there for no reason other than to brainwash the populace into submission. The sole purpose of the Government was to steal from the peasants, and keep the elite rich and comfortable.

Anyone with a good idea was tossed in jail. How long can a system like that survive?
