Meredith is gone ... Politically correct reason The politically incorrect reason is that he hosted a private dinner at his house for President Clinton (along with a significant contribution to Gore) while Michael Dell was Bush's chief technology advisor and major back patter. Also, Dell ventures which Tom leads, has not been a stellar performer this year. TP
