I'm so glad a I quit a few years back. I had a pretty heavy thing going (not going to admit how many packs per day), but after a few tries - and with the help of the patch - kicked it completely and finally, to this day. Before I started this new job, I was running 3 miles several days a week, so I think I've vanquished, for the most part, the tar and junk left in my lungs over the course of my smoking years.

I do, however, still...on an exclusively celebratory basis...indulge in a decent cigar 2-3 times a year.
