Mohanad,
While I would not wish to disparage either Pain(e)-Webber Inc. or Gunnar Miller, I did look for their names in the Wall Street Journal 1996 Survey on All Star Analysts. It was published online last week.

Lo and behold, Paine-Webber captured 20 of the 440 all star slots. ... not too shabby a performance. So how did they do in the Semiconductor arena? and more specifically how did our good friend Gunnar do? Of the 10 Semiconductor slots (top 5 for each of StockPicking Skill, and Estimate Accuracy), both Paine Webber and Gunnar Millar batted .000, nil , nada, zilch... Poor Gunnar, shot down in flames.

Oh well, being charitable, perhaps they were in 6th place. Or maybe Gunnar worked elsewhere (and in a different industry). I am being totally unfair, however. Analysts are never held accountable. That's why they get paid the big bucks. :<)

With kind regards,

Ian.
