Jimmy:

Finally have read enough on MTNT to realize I got very lucky this afternoon on my short-term investment. I sold my MTNT within an hour of buying it.

MTNT holds about 15 million shares of XMSR, or less than $200 million worth at today's prices.

MTNT also has about $500 million of debt (indpendent of XMSR's debt) and is still bleeding a lot of cash.

MTNT invested over $800 million in the XMSR operations over the years, and the associated debt is not included in the $500 million figure above.

Whether MTNT is worth anything at all depends on XMSR recovering in price a lot more than it has done these past few weeks, and depends on whether MTNT's remaining operations can become cash-flow neutral.

All way too risky for my taste. If you like the XMSR business, better to buy XMSR, IMO.

Peter
