Kaka - I have some long term friendships with a number of people at DELL, and while I'm not an "insider" I do get what I believe is a pretty good feeling for the internal dynamics. The strategic alternatives being considered at DELL have been pretty obvious for a while. There is no question that MSD calls the shots, and sooner or later folks with a different idea about where DELL should go, who determine that MSD just isn't going there, may decide that discretion is the better part of valor and bow out.
