Why would you find it surprising that the euro area understands that a slow down in the USA will affect them and that stronger USA means a stronger euro area, and one of the best tools to use to help both areas are rate reduction? Seems obvious in macro terms and was just a matter of time before they acted and joined our central bank in the fight. G
