It is the voters who will haunt him in 2002 when they turn over the Congress to the Democrats. He promised a prescription drug benefit and none will be forthcoming. He said he would do something about global warming and then flip flopped on the issue. He said he would reform Soc Sec and nothing will happen. He said there would be debt reduction and there will be none which will cause interest rates to rise. Voters will haunt him in 2002.
