It's not the right that should be questioned. It's the level of responsibility of the right-holder. I think this is where liberals go wrong. They want rights (one's that they agree with, i.e. abortion, free speech) without any prerequisite for responsibility for the privilege of having the right. Yet, you're also very selective about which rights you care to give to people when you'd rather point to the "right" as the source of the problem, as opposed to the lack of personal responsibility that causes the right to be a problem. Abortion is borne from a lack of personal responsibility, as is urban gun violence.

You'd like to simply take rights away rather than address the long term root cause of the problem.

Before you fire it back on the abortion thing, I do not think that anyone here denies that a woman has a right to do what she wants with her body. The problem that many of us have is that abortion is not about only her body. It's about the body of an unborn child that we believe has Constitutional rights.
