willcousa, RE: In my estate work I have found that most people with modest estates never need any of their investment capital if they live modestly there are a good many people that invest kids' college funds in the equity markets, and wisely so. There is no way in heck that the time horizon of those funds is 30 years much less never need this capital, unless you want you kids to have pretty significant work experience prior to entering undergrad.
