STRATEGIC CONSUMER SCRUTINY: NTAP has customer's full attention on rolling out new products and services for the very reason that in an economic slow down (the 2nd Greenspan Recession) its a BUYER's MARKET to be sure, and only BEST OF BREED companies like NTAP will come out on top of the FODD CHAIN as the economy recovers. This is why competition for the Buyers dollars, purchasing department corporate budgets is causing the numerous new products being rollwed out across all industry sectors. I call this STRATEGIC CONSUMER SCRUTINY. Even MSFT has to put out more vaporware, just to keep interest, just to keep the attention up, as we now see one day XP is delayed, then XP is on track, now XP will be out in October, and the anticipation just changes daily. Companies with NEW PRODUCTS AND NEW SERVICES like NTAP, are on the other hand able to CAPTURE CUSTOMERS and now is the time to capture territory and market share, when your competition is weaker.
