***** TA Update (intra-day) *****

The Nasdaq has turned negative after it's early morning rally, as it filled the gap. The TRIN is a mildly negative 1.31, but it was positive earlier. A/D is now 19/16 after having been better, and up/down volume is negative at 19/20, with overall volume moderate at 940K shares, which projects to around 1.9-2.0B shares, slightly higher than the prior 3 sessions.

The Dow is faring better than the Nasdaq but it has not broken above 11,000 yet. The NYSE TRIN is a positive .81 and breadth is positive.

It would be technically quite negative in the very near term for the Nasdaq a/d to turn negative and for the up/down volume to get more negative. The a/d is currently positive at this time and needs to be watched carefully as the technical buy signal of April 18th is still in effect.

For now, the markets are in neutral in the near term and the short-intermediate term remains slightly positive.
