crepster-

no no no! you're thinking of chingaderos; they're not made with corn tortillas they're made with crescent roll dough. you fill them with sauteed frog toes. here's the secret recipe:

1) brown 2/3 cup of toes with 1/4 cup finely chopped shallots in hot oil of lover. season with red chili powder, garlic powder, salt, ground black pepper (and white rhino horn powder if you have some).

2) drain sauteed toes and shallots on paper towel and place in mixing bowl.

3) add 1/4 cup of diced green chili (or jalapeños if you like them spicy), and 1/2 cup of finely grated cojack cheese.

4) stir gently until mixed.

5) open a can of crescent roll dough and lay the squares out on a wooden cutting board lightly dusted with flour.

6) spoon the mixture onto the dough squares or diamonds (one tablespoon per roll) and spread flat with spoon to cover the entire surface of the dough.

7) starting at one corner, roll them up till they look like a croissant and bake them on a cookie sheet in the toaster oven at 375 until delicious. serve with pickled prickly pear cactus, tequila, salt and lime.

be careful who you feed these to, as they will become extremely amorous. it is unlawful to serve them to minors or prisoners.
