Masterpiece Technology Group, Inc. Approves Electronic Medical Records Software Architecture for its Masterpiece Millennium - Concept Developed by CarbonWave
CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2001--CarbonWave has delivered the proposed concept and software architecture for the new EMR, Masterpiece Millenium(TM). The software will be unique in the industry with its cross-platform functionality and features.
CarbonWave has designed the system to allow scalability and adaptability to advancing technologies, including OTOC's integrated broadband wireless communication system. In addition to running in a cross platform environment (Windows(TM), MAC, Linux, and Unix), the software will also be database independent within SQL. In most cases, this will enable customers to use Masterpiece Millennium(TM) without the purchase of additional computer hardware and give them easier integration with their existing database software.
Using its Open Standards based GraphiteTL(TM) processes CarbonWave selected an architecture that allows maximum flexibility and will utilize a minimum bandwidth. The new software will be more efficient in its use of computer resources and thus respond quicker to the user's requests, as well as allowing physicians to access their patients' records from any internet enabled device.
