Only way to make money this past week has been to buy when no one else is. Chasing retailers today doesn't make sense.
They'lol be caught in a trading range too. By the time the good news comes out it's too late. No real upside.

Buy the techs. Most are right down at their recent support levels. Sitting there being ignored today. Get in cheaply and early. The fed rally is about to beginneth. By this time tomorrow certainly. Don't believe me? Fine. But I do put my money where my mouth is and I'm all positioned for it. Going to sleep well this weekend.

Stocks I now see sitting at recent bottoms: AAPL, GLW, LU, NOVL, WCOM, VZ, SCNT, PALM, HWP, INTC. And probably a lot more. Check 'em out. Charts will confirm those low bases. So then if you assume the Fed will help the market and spur at least a 2-day tech rally you know what to do. News from this PM's IBM meeting might help too. They are full of good news lately. Much more so than CSCO and much more of a leader now. Stay tuned.
