Why would anyone dump right before a Fed cut? Common sense.
Going short here makes no sense. I'd be buying all you can at these levels. And funds have a record infusion this month, esp growth funds which include tech. That money has not all been put to use yet. You also have a large short position in techs now. That seemed to increase today for some reason. Expect a squeeze tomorrow EOD and Monday. Other than that the Fed cut the market seems pretty neutral right now. Watch the IBM meeting this afternoon beginning now. Possible good news for the computer sector.
