plenty o zips here.
I work in an academic/research outfit.
We have 8 zips - they filled a need.
No complaints about performance (yet).
I just wish the jaz had come out sooner.
Other people in the dept. have bought
them too. Mine comes in handy for backing
up the web server.

My friend at the local art/computer graphics
college says they all use zips.
At the local Kinko's copy place they have
zips on all the Macs.

No, this is no reasoned analysis of the
IOMG story, nor an offhanded dismissal
of competitive technologies. (The Nordic
sounds interesting.) Nor is it an entry in the
debate about forward vs trailing PEs.
Just a one-time response to this 'where are the zips'
thread. I see lots of them. As you say, it will
be nice for a certain sector of the market.
(Some sectors may be a surprise. I would
not have anticipated strong sales in the
'sales force' market, as described by Jay
Rommel, but then, I'm not a salesperson.)

Cheers.
