I would! And I would make them sue me to collect one more red cent.
All the while I was a rmbs long, I remained long because of those patents. If upheld, RMBS could have been a cash making machine. The problem I always had with rmbs was this......go to krispy kreme for example...they have customers that want their product and are more then happy to pay for it......rmbs...well, every single one of their customers would rather not pay, and will look for alternative technologies so they dont have to pay...or legal issuses so they can avoid paying. My point being.....I had severe reservations in being a shareholder of a company whose customers are really not happy, and in which you have to sue to collect payment from them. That just never sat well with me.....But I believed the spin the company put out, and the analysts about how broad the patents were and how much stuff they covered. There was even talk about them collecting on other type royalties supposedly covered in their patents that they had yet to pursue.....so yep, I believed the company when they said their patents were what they were, and thought rmbs could be a cash cow.....like I said, I didnt like the fact they had no real "happy customers".....I mean, nobody was happy about paying royalties to rmbs....but I have no problem in paying $4 fo0r a dozen krispy kreme........but I believed the crap the company said, and lost a ton........out at 28 with my last shares, but still lost a ton......a major ton on the may 75 rmbs calls....major $$'s, down the drain........ |
