There are deadbeat dads and sexual scoundrels on both sides of the aisle in Congress ... enough to go around for several generations. Hypocrites ... at least in my book ... occupy one of the lowest levels in Hades ... whether said hypocrite is black, white, Democrat or Republican. Makes no difference. It's one thing to commit adultery in the Oval Office, it's another thing to wag a finger at such behavior while at the same time covering up one's own gross sexual misdeeds. My point is that if one is going to bash Jesse Jackson because he let his John Henry do his thinking for him, then also castigate J.C. Watts for fathering two illegitimate children. If one is going to bash Clinton for his sexual misdeeds, then don't use the term "family values" and Newt Gingrich or Robert Livingston in the same sentence.
Re "Brave New World": At some point in the next 100 years, the population-based problems of the world, i.e., global warming, declining habitat for wildlife, animal and plant extinction, mass starvation, ozone depletion, cancer epidemics, severe changes in weather, will reach crisis stage and countries such as the United States will begin searching for solutions. Until then, we will continue to neglect our large cities, expand suburbia, build and sell cars that get 15 mpg and continue to mismanage our natural resources at an alarming rate.
