C-COR.net announced today that the Company's TL (Transfer Linearization) Technology(TM), first introduced in the C-COR.net mini Fiber Node, is now available in its 862 MHz Navicor(TM) Quadrant Nodes, Navicor FlexNet(R)
Nodes, FlexNet 900 Series Trunk and Bridger Amplifiers, and Navicor Line Extenders. TL Technology is
C-COR.net's proprietary circuit technique that enhances product performance capabilities using standard
silicon-based technology. Incorporating TL Technology with C-COR.net's node and amplifier products
leverages silicon's long-term, proven reliability with comparable performance to GaAs (Gallium-Arsenide)
technology.
TL Technology offers several advantages to the broadband operator. It improves the linear characteristics
of standard silicon technology hybrids, resulting in higher operating level capabilities and/or improved
distortion performance, and higher channel capacities. In addition, TL Technology also translates into
fewer active devices required for the HFC architecture, thus reducing maintenance, installation, and
