Thanks for the link. I agree, very interesting stuff. I was trying to build bandpass filters and apply them to the closing price. I was monitoring the crossovers for buy sell points. One other important thing was to monitor the correlation between the stock price frequency and the particular filter. If the correlation was to fall below say 85% percent this would also indicate a sell. As I said I was never very successfull. As far as style, again, I'm a longer term trend trader but I like math and these types of things interest me. If I get a good "short term" sytem out of it, all the better. You'll be missed in NJ. Have some fun while your in Mexico. I just sold a 25' Cape Dori. David
