Also, if it's a strict fab agreement, AMD would use its engineering resources to adopt Barton to IBM's .13um SOI process (not the other way around) But Jerry did state that IBM engineers were involved with the redesign work necessary to port to the IBM SOI process. I must admit I was surprised to read that.
