Coming on the heels of the ABSC bid, this should juice up the 'tools' stocks. It's a strong indication that stuff like this is too cheap. Look out for some more shareholder rights schemes... Interesting that it's Merck. Didn't they buy a company called Biovation (antibody humanisation) recently? Another move to take stuff in house rather than outsource... Who's next ? LEXG/DGEN ?
