Starting in 2004, and providing there will be a hotly contested race for the Democratic nomination (as I expect), the party buzz-which will quickly become the media buzz-will be avoiding the error of nominating "another Clinton". Gore will most-likely be the first victim, since he can't extract himself from the trap.

In 2000 the "buzz" issue was "soft money". But, with McCain Feingold already dead in this Congress, and with McCain "retired" by the Arizona Republicans by that year, "soft money" will have long since died a merciful death-while Clinton's negative image will have grown exponentially...
