Agree: SUNW voluntary vacation preserves IT TALENT unlike CSCO, COMS, DELL layoffs etc. H1B Visas are another concern, we need these tech foreign workers for no other reason than to open future markets in their countries of origin once our economy expands and takes our companies overseas with these workers as they return home and start startups or run foreign divisions and partnered corporations for the US Tech companies. Greenspan really tried to destroy the high tech future, he only suceeded in delaying it for 18 monhs to 24 months, which in dog years, or high tech years is TOO LONG AWAY and reason enough to impeach him and the whole Federal Reserve board of governors with him. GW Bush should appoint ONLY fresh blood, fresh minds for all these future appointments, like Larry Kudlow the only person to have properly assessed the situation back 18 months ago (as did I) and who has the CURE and RX for the current economic condition right. POSITIVE CARRY, let's get that FOMC rate cut of 50 basis points next week, however, Greenspan is such a sadistic "person" that I would not put it past him to do less. We really need 150 basis points more to get prsent POSITIVE CARRY, however, the Treasury/Bond markets areselling off today, so maybe they will come down to the point where with a little more prodding from the European Central Bank and Bank of England (now waking up and cutting rates) we can get more and put the economy BACK TO THE FUTURE part 2.
