MOORE's LAW and METCALFE's LAW: NTAP and other STORAGE will increase exponentially into the future for those reasons and others. The internet will grow and so will peer to peer, LOOK you now probably have more power sitting on your desktop than most fortune 500 companies had in their servers just 5 years ago. You surely do not intend to go back, or stay at that level, you will upgrade as the high end chips come down in price, everyone will. You will be able to do streaming video and audio, Telephone-TV to your friends and family and business contacts, whether you are a small business or large, whether you are a consumer, customer, business owner, or just a person, you will need more and more data, or others even your local garage, local grocery store, local bank, local credit card merchants, all will have and generate more data on you. Pictures, data, transactions, not because they want to, but because they can they must in order to remain competitive. That data and content will get stored. As bandwidth expands, for example fiber optic and cable modem and even DSL build outs, everyone will be able to send and recieve more data over faster computers, this will just keep making more data. One man's garbage is another man's treasure. NTAP and other storage will do just great, they will out GROW the rest of the technology sector. Just like grocery stores produce more food than plate, spoon fork, knive and stove manufactureres. Just like dealer garages make more money on gas and repairs than on selling the car.
