norma i have purposefully stayed away from netscape6.0. i run communicator4.76, the last version prior to n6.0, i believe. all kinds of probs still being ironed out with n6.0. some folks on this thread tried it and 86'd it. make sure you get communicator, as that's the browser with messenger... but you knew that. there's always plenty of time to migrate to netscape6.0 as the kinks get smoothed out. with a new puter and a bit of a learning curve already in front of you, why make it that much more complex? <g3> hope win2000 is treating you well. you'll begin to notice its stability and performance. i think reviewers call it robustness, but that sounds like they're talking about wine. "a valium the size of a saucer tonight" amazing image you've left us with. remember to cut it into smaller pieces or it'll get stuck going down. :) mark
