Cary if you would not mind I would appreciate a link to your post with entrance points to the various stocks in this industry that you follow.

To all...

No matter whether you think one stock or another will be the best place to be when this sector moves higher on a breakout buying a stock at an entry point that you have predetermined based on past cyclical performance or technical analysis and charting is an excellent idea. My reasoning for wanting to follow this tenet are simple. You can reduce your risk by entering a cyclical stock at a historically low price. Despite the fact that many would want us to believe this cycle will be different there is always the possibility that even if the cycle is a U rather than a V that investors will reach one more capitulation phase in the belief that the cycle will be worse than typical.

For every CEO that is stating that we have reached the bottom there is another who is stating that there is not enough visibility to know. AMAT reports on Tuesday and that will give us a look at numbers from one of the biggest players. Hopefully their guidance will be enlightening.
