Greetings Haim,
I see we were thinking the same thing on that Y2K, energy crisis comparison. ggg (there's hope for me yet!)
A preponderance of sell signals on the computer scan...
charts looking kinda scary (potential sell off mode) for next week.
I had been considering various scenarios for the expected fed move with a rally into the meeting, a sell-off after / a sell-off into the meeting, a rally after....I think these are the main scenarios being tossed about, I think based on the old adage "buy the rumor, sell the fact" and it's reverse.
It occurs to me that with many expecting a rally before or after.....how devious it would be if there was no rally at all! The daily index charts seem to support near-term weakness and it sure looks like a re-test of the lows looms directly in front of us... How do you see the possibilities playing out near-term? Would appreciate your insight.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Eichler
