Bidder... check your printer spool settings to make sure your print job begins after the first page spools out.

start > settings > printers > Right click on your printer & then properties button > details > spool settings > then make sure those buttons that indicate "making your print job finish faster" and "begin printing after 1st page is spooled" are highlighted.
