The launch hasn't even happened yet!

Launch is in 2 days. This HSN promo says nothing about volumes or number of launch partners. In fact, I'm relieved in that Compaq is on board - if the launch had been very limited in volume, I think a much more likely "solo" launch partner would be Sony. I fully expect we'll see multiple OEMs lining up behind the mobile Palomino come Monday. Some with product ready for launch now, others with availability later this quarter.

No Crush chipset?

Isn't EDTN (EETimes, EBN etc.) the only source of that info?

I consider a Crush chipset for notebooks unlikely and that it would be ready now even more so. IMHO, integrating such a good graphics chip in a mainstream notebook would be a major overkill. Better to use the better manufacturing process (Crush would require .18µ or better anyway) to achieve lower power consumption.
