I just checked OE [MESSAGE>CREATE RULE FROM MESSAGE] and found I can specify certain sender's addresses [not useful because spammers change them

Yes a useful tool except for the drawback you mention.

One can also swipe(highlight)a spammers address and right click and select block sender from menu.
