FWIW, you sound like you are all opinion but lack evidence to support this fuzzy view you happen to hold. Jagr is among the best in the defensive zone with his speed, strength & incredible reach. No doubt that during the regular season, Jagr & most offensively skilled players will focus most of their efforts offensively. Jagr plays both ends as good as any player on the ice during the playoffs. Always has, always will. As for your comments about every other game efforts & when he wants to play BS, his stats speak for themselves. There are very few players ever in the history of hockey to achieve more than Jagr at this point in Jagr's career......
