The entire objective of the American environmental movement is the accumulation of power-but NOT the kind you can light your house with.. Absolutely. Cailfornia can be left to rot if they don't get their attitude straight. They're a Gore state. So are all the states that went to Gore to be expelled from the Union? Nuked? What? They have no influence on national policy anymore, because they LOST! In the 2012 presidential election, their 12 remaining electoral votes will be cast more wisely.. If CA is reduced to 12 electoral votes by 2012, the US is going to have a disaster on its hands of a magnitude previously never imagined. A President will have about as much chance of ignoring it as ignoring a nuclear attack.
