Specifically, the companies plan to develop a series of advanced MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) chips." lightreading.com lightreading.com analog.com "fabricating MEMS devices on top of processed semiconductor wafers." analog.com It looks to me very much like the LUMM/Litton partnership insofar as Tellium/Astarte and/or Tellium/Analog Devices will be developing a chip containing a MEMS actuated photonic switch.
