You are correct in that there has been little change but it does show they aren't being squeezed out yet either and definitally haven't gone long yet.

The commercials Decreased S&P longs -5,459 ; increased shorts 3,086 ---- On the S&P Minis, they decreased longs -637 and Increased shorts 21,237.

On the NDX, the decreased longs -2,716 and decreased shorts -3,702 but on the NDX mini they Increased longs 5,443 and increased shorts 13,423 .

Looks like they are moving in the minis more lately to utilize the faster action and take on the little guys head to head.

I would imagine they would be net long when the permanent bottom is in and so far it doesn't look like they are rushing to get that way yet.

Something else that has been bothering me is the RYDEX positions. It is like 20-1 NDX longs over short.

Good Luck,

Lee
