In most cases you are right Philip, but I have a great deal of confidence in Matritech because what they have is good science and commercially viable! The bladder cancer tests are not huge money spinners but they do prove that the system works; it is cost effective; and that the medical community is prepared to use it. The one I am waiting for is the availability the cervical cancer test. NMPS announced that it was on its way almost a year ago. Now here is a test that is routinely performed hundreds of millions of times every year and the current technology is expensive, unreliable and slow. That is where Matritech's money is and if they develop the commercial product it won't matter about their business performance. Bayer and the rest of the majors will fight to the death to get the rights to this technology.
