Maybe 20 mb is a sustained write speed. I recall seeing that figure. At any rate, it is quite fast, and certainly faster than the time it takes to write a 2.1 mpixel TIFF file to my SanDisk CF. When I make a high resolution photo in TIFF on my Nikon 950, I wait approx. 25 seconds for the camera to be ready for another shot. This is just about the only unacceptable performance I have encountered so far. Art
