G, I tend to discount the comments of the industry execs with the supposition that they are also ad-men (or women) for their particular company/industry. It is certainly not in their best interests to say that things are pretty bad unless they are forced to. It is in their best interests to wade through this period with optimistic (or hopeful) words- and keep the rest of us confused. -SD
