Jim,

I think so too... Especially, mobile duron is Morgan. Also 1.4v. 3-3.5 hrs of battery life.

Look at the FAQ: www1.amd.com

This looks like an impressive product. It makes the entire Coppermine / Cellerymine line obsolete. Semi-mobile, semi 1-GHz Coppermine runs at 700 as mobile, consumes more power, performs probably worse than Mobile Duron. And it appears, Mobile Duron can be made in Austin (the voltage range from 1.2 to 1.5, rather than Dresden Pally of 1.2 to 1.4).

Prices:
Mobile AMD Duron Processor
850MHz Mobile AMD Duron $197
800MHz Mobile AMD Duron $170

Too bad that it will take forever to get the OEMS to switch to this part, which will over time negate many of the advantages, once Intel switches to .13u.

Joe
