I honestly don't have a clue about WH's money. Why should I or anyone else care?

Because he seems to want us to care, or he would not post so much about it.

I guess I missed something because the only story I ever heard from WH was, "this is what I'm doing", along with talking his position.

You did not hear him when claimed quite spectacularly that he had "not sold a share" from March 2000 to March 2001?

He honestly didn't believe he was wrong.

The last most of us have heard, he still doesn't. Not that he wouldn't have done differently hindsight (although even then he leaves doubt), but he acts just like those fund managers who lost half their customers' money last year and simply termed it short-term bad luck. THAT'S the point, really. As we dropped below Naz 2000 he still referred to the trend as a "bull market correction". To listen to him (unless he's changed drastically in the past month), we can be back at Naz 5000 and AMZN $100 just as quickly and easily as we fell from those levels.

If you can show me that William has finally admitted that he, like very very many other investors like him, screwed up royally last year and took a needless bath, that would go immeasurably towards people's opinions of him on this thread. Unfortunately all indications are he still thinks there are no other investors like him. That is why we shun him.
