This is curious. Let's go down the possibilities:

1. Earnings pre-release, either good or bad. Too early for this, isn't it?

2. Takeover. Stock would probably be halted now. Would be unusual to have a conference call and pre-announce it. More likely would be a halt near the close and conference call the next day.

3. There were takeover talks, but broken-off, and there will be no takeover. (Have to present all sides.)

4. Some other kind of equity-related activity - i.e. somebody taking a big stake. Does IOM need the money?

Pretty much leaves me at a loss. Why else would the company have a conference call with their investment banker?
