SEDONA Joins With Jack Henry & Associates and IBM Corporation to Provide Intarsia to Financial Institutions

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2001--SEDONA(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: SDNA) (www.sedonacorp.com) announced today that it has joined with Jack Henry & Associates (Nasdaq: JKHY) and IBM(R) Corporation (NYSE: IBM) to provide small and mid-sized financial services institutions with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution to identify, select, retain and attract profitable customers.

At its 2001 Spring User Conference, Jack Henry announced a business partner relationship with SEDONA, an IBM Advanced Business Partner. SEDONA offers IntarsiaTM, a comprehensive CRM solution that is designed and priced specifically for small and mid-sized financial services companies. The solution includes profitability management, Web-based reporting, lead tracking, and campaign management features. Intarsia, SEDONA's flagship software product, was recently selected as "Product of the Year" by Customer Inter@ction Solutions Magazine. The solution is an IBM DB2 application currently offered on IBM iSeries and xSeries platforms and later in the year will be available on pSeries.

Utilizing the data content in Jack Henry core processing systems such as the Silverlake System, Intarsia extracts customer information and enhances it with third-party business-to-business or business-to-consumer data such as lifestyle and preference information. Intarsia then filters, analyzes, and visually presents the data while utilizing sophisticated techniques for householding and segmentation. Subsequently, the system can then help users analyze customer and product profitability, develop customer and prospect profiles, and develop and track marketing campaigns.

"We are very honored to be selected as a business partner by Jack Henry & Associates," said Marco Emrich, president and CEO, SEDONA Corporation. "The relationship between Jack Henry, IBM, and SEDONA will allow us to conduct co-marketing campaigns and to expand our sales efforts."
