Trufflette, you're right. Quarter ends 6/31, I thought is was one of the odd-ball ones. I suppose it's not too early for a pre-announcement.

A bit surprised to see frantic 100K blocks going-off at the offer if it's expected to be bad news, though.

And I agree with the previous comment about the blocks BEFORE the news brief. If they were after, I would be more nervous, thinking it might just be an uninformed reaction, but they came before.

(On the other hand, always the skeptic, if somebody new that the press conference was going to be announced, they could do some frantic buying which would cause us to come to exactly this conslusion when the news came out - i.e. "somebody must know something, it must be good" causing further upward movement of the stock, and enabling a short-term profit on a few 100K trades. The way to play this would be to hide the sells in smaller trades.)
