Isn't it sad that our government in their gazzillion dollar drug war won't even consider that it may benefit very sick people. What is truly sad is they won't admit that what they are doing isn't working. As long as there is a consumer there will be a supplier. They can't seem to touch the supply side so I guess their next bet is to jail the user's under mandatory sentences. Crazy IMO. We had a local smoker get a second offense for a small amount of pot. Judge was forced to sentence him to 15 years. Had to close his business and do his time. I don't feel much safer and really wonder who they let out in order to make room for this threat to society.
