Analyst: Intel may miss targets news.cnet.com Redbird, here's a CNET article on the Thomas Weisel Partners report. Ross said in a note that Pentium 4 unit shipments will be "well under plan" in the second quarter and throughout the rest of the year. For the second quarter, Ross said chip shipments could come to only around half of the 3 million units the company hoped for. On a related note, on pricewatch the 1.7 P4 can now be had for $349, a few bucks below the official q1000 price. Athlon 1.33 still in short supply, though.
