Thank you,
As far as RAID goes, I'm considering the offerings from Adaptec and Promise; they both have ~300$ solutions. They appear to be pretty much carbon copies, except the Adaptec has better driver support. Promise seems to be Windows-centric. Any recommendations? I tend to trust Adaptec, but Promise seems to lead the bandwagon in IDE-Raid.

Both have an i960
Both support up to 128mb cache
Both support raid 0,1,5,and 1+0.

Patient Regards,
DARBES
