PT, This could help facilitate systems which require lower cooling requirements with resultant lower noise. And of course smaller size and lower weight. Most of these corporate machines the small form factor designs arrange the components in the box very efficiently. Since these machines are rarely if ever opened, the accessibility to say jumpers on the motherboard are not much of an issue. The space efficiency of the SFF design vs. inefficiency of tower models is amazing. Unfortunately, AMD has not been a factor in this market, since they didn't have an appropriate CPU to address it. Now AMD may - or may not have a CPU for this market (depends on if you believe this "launch" is real or not). Joe
