Charles-- they are far less proprietary than awhile back. I do prefer DELL (after Micron PC) and certainly INTC over AMD-- just preferences. Also,, for those that do not play much--- DELL supports as long as you own it,, even after warranty. Other than my kids that get free tech support,,, I suggest all think about that when buying. A former employee just recd a disk with a few lines of code after DELL walked him through formatting C and reloading.... all on a P200MMX. That machine must be 5 years old and no charge of course.
