The majority of oil fields were found by wildcatters not geologists. Ever hear of H.L. Hunt? Dad Joiner? Benedum & Trees? Ever hear of Spindletop? East Texas? They were gamblers Scumbria. They did not bluster around with pockets full of pencils and colored maps with knee high boots half laced up. Their oil built a nation and a world economy.
